ADVERTISING AND SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS
At Pioneer Mountain Homestead we are interested in advertising and sponsorship programs. We welcome ideas and collaborations with others of similar interests. So what type of interests are we talking about? Well, anything and everything related to our local area (Raystown Lake). Additionally, we want to support our local community such as the areas of James Creek, Saxton, Broad Top City, Martinsburg, Roaring Springs, Cherrytown, Huntingdon, Entriken, Hopewell, Todd, and all the other areas surrounding Lake Raystown, Pennsylvania. We are located within the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania.
Second, we welcome homestead and homesteading products. Our do-it-yourself attitude welcomes those with similar self reliance or self sufficient demeanors. We love gardening, livestock, poultry, crafting, building, sewing, fiber arts, wood crafts, and anything handmade. We would love to start a community page where we could share websites of local businesses with similar interests on our site with the hope that you would share our web page as well on your site. We personally support as many of the small businesses in our location that we can. We love the folks that make a living from their property. We also try to make a living at our property by providing sawmill wood products, firewood, and other wood creations. We are anxious to launch our vacation rentals, camping, and glamping opportunities in 2021. We are also working on shepherd’s huts for sharing our glamping experience at the homestead and ideas are welcome for promoting this adventure.
We consider ourselves entrepreneurs and love to chat with others with similar interests. Bluehost is our website hosting site of choice. After years of dealing with hosting services that were always down and had terrible customer support, we came across Bluehost. Bluehost has met all our expectations and then some. Every time we call (and usually the calls are problems on our end), a Bluehost customer service rep helps us beyond what is expected. The rates for hosting are very acceptable and reasonable. Highly recommend this company for your website hosting. They also manage domain names and help you obtain them.
Lehman’s Hardware and Appliance Store If you need it for the homestead, Lehman’s probably has it. This is one of our all-time favorite stores. Need canning supplies? Lehman’s has them. Need lanterns? Lehman’s got you covered. Need cast iron cook wear? Lehman’s has that, too. We just love going through their catalog and checking out their products. We have many of their products, and we use them regularly. This is a great family focused business catering to a specific niche market. They sell a lot of products made in the USA! We cannot say enough good things about this company and will continue to support them and hope you will, too.
Shutterstock is our photo broker where we sell our digital photography images. Shutterstock has enabled us to earn extra money with our photography by getting our photos into a database that connects with a large customer base. This provides our digital images exposure way beyond what we are capable of doing. We found Shutterstock to be an expert in their field. Check them out for both purchasing images and selling your own images.
