This is a 19 gauge hardware cloth. I use it to make mouse guards for the bee hives; around the base of the high tunnels (to keep rabbits and chickens out); and in the eaves of chicken coops.

It is galvanized welded wire (not woven wire) and is a thin fence suitable for enclosing small animals like rabbits or chickens. It is not designed for flooring of pens. (Please don’t use it for flooring as the thin wire will harm your animals’ feet). However, if you want to enclose a small animal and use this as the perimeter fencing or to fence overhead, it will do the job. It could also be used to keep small animals out of garden areas.

Personally, I would NOT use this for keeping out larger predators like raccoons, fishers, and coyotes. I think it’s a little thin for that, but if you need a light weight, easily bendable fencing for smaller containment or protection, this is a great fence.   – Bren

This is a recent bolt I got of this wire.  This is a 50 foot by 24″ high roll so you can kind of get an idea how much you get and how nice it arrives.  This roll will last me quite some time because I only use it in “light usage” areas.
