Honeybee Apron
I do not personally own this apron, however it is a good example of everything I look for in a good apron. To be honest, most of my aprons are hand made or personalized gifts from friends. However, this apron is making my “want it” list (and what homesteader can honestly claim they have “enough” aprons)?
The reasons I like this apron are as follows. First, I like that the straps at both the waist and neckline are tied. That allows for a better fit. I don’t like aprons where the neck line is so long that the front panel drapes. Second, this apron has pockets!!!! I cannot stress enough how pockets are so handy on the homestead. Third, the fabric is a durable cotton twill which will wash and dry well. Lastly, I just love the design and color. As a beekeeper, this suits my personality.
