Pleasant Hill Grain– Take a look at this place!  They have so many things for the kitchen.  We have many of the items they carry (such as the Berkey Water Filtration Systems, canning supplies including the All-American pressure canner model 921,  the reversible canning rack, the Norpro canning set, and much more)!  The products they sell are cream of the crop and will last a long time, if not a lifetime!  We have been avid canners for over 30 years doing well over 500 jars a year, so we can tell you what will be around for a long time and what will not.  I’ll include some pictures of what we currently have, but do yourself a favor and spend some time shopping on this site.

We have plans to purchase the  KoMo Hand Grinder so watch for a review once we get it.  We feel this hand cranking grain mill will be an excellent mill in addition to the electrified mills we currently have as our electric power goes down regularly.  As a bonus, this mill is just a beautiful show piece and we have no plans of hiding it in a pantry.  It will sit prominently on the counter top and at the ready for our regular weekly grain milling.  We expect it to be a conversation starter for those that visit the homestead.  As you all know, we are always ready to talk DIY, self reliance, or self sufficiency around the homestead!
