I recently got into sour dough bread and I am struggling. I was suggested to get a pH meter to help identify what I am doing wrong. Honestly, I was hesitant to get one because I wasn’t certain of my skills of using one. I read about calibrating and protecting the probe and it seemed like it would be difficult to maintain, let alone use!

However, I am happy to report that this is so easy to use. I was able to calibrate the meter easily with the provided solutions and directions. There are just three buttons and the screen is easy to read. The meter even came with four extra batteries. (The batteries are LR44 batteries). The best part is that I am able to use this meter for some of my other interests (like canning, fermenting, and cheesemaking), and hopefully it will help me to become better in these areas as well.

The meter is well made. It comes with a protector for the probe, the solutions for calibrating, and a solution to keep the probe functioning correctly. Instructions are clear and easy to understand.
