Silicone Treat Mold

Silicone Treat Mold

This is the mold tray we use to freeze extra eggs in.  When we have extra eggs from our chickens, we simply break them open, scramble them and freeze them in the individual mold spaces.  The eggs freeze quickly and can be popped easily from the molds and stored in plastic containers or plastic bags in the freezer for later use.  When freezing, the mold works best if placed on a cookie sheet or other solid surface.

The molds are actually designed for making mini sponge cakes or cheesecakes.  According to the manufacturer, they are dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe.

The overall size of the mold is 13″ x 8.4″ x 0.79″ so they don’t take much space to store.    The six cavities measure 3.3″ x 0.75″.
