Turning Timber into Treasures I have a passion for working with wood. From firewood processing, sawmilling, building, and woodworking, I cannot seem to get enough of it. Lathe work is my ultimate passion. Lately, I have been busy turning all kinds of Christmas ornaments and making other crafts for the holiday season. Working with wood is one of the sources of income at our homestead in the Appalachian Mountains (it’s kind of my dream job and it has taken me many years to get here). I want to share my love of wood with others. I recently started a YouTube channel called Make Some Dust.
